Monster loses marketing director

Monster’s marketing director Lisa Hutt is leaving the online recruitment company mid-way through its £5m pan-European advertising review. Hutt, who was only handed the top marketing role at the end of last year, will leave at the end of June.

She has been overseeing the pitch, which is being handled by the AAR, and had shortlisted TBWA/London, McCann Erickson, DDB London, JWT and 180 Amsterdam.

Monster called the pitch last month (MW May 3) and has previously worked with Leo Burnett in the UK. The account moved from Saatchi & Saatchi in 2005.

Wieden & Kennedy was forced to pull out of the Monster pitch this week after winning the account for rival recruitment site Careerbuilder.com.
