Green Flag TV ad marks campaign launch

Green Flag is launching a major campaign focusing on the company’s speed of service. The campaign will run throughout 2007 and is the first work created for the breakdown service by Shop.

The direct response television ads, which break this week, will run on terrestrial and satellite channels and will have the strapline: “When you breakdown, you just want to get going again quickly. At Green Flag, that’s what we do”.

MacKenzie Crook, star of The Office and Pirates of the Caribbean, provides the voiceover and the execution featues a frustrated looking couple not speaking to each other while waiting for help to arrive.

The company appointed Shop in April. It has developed a campaign that also includes outdoor, radio, direct mail and online activity. Green Flag is the third largest player in the breakdown market and is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group.
