BBC Worldwide has poached Warner Bros UK marketing head Beck Diver to lead the marketing of its international channels. Diver joins BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the corporation, in the new role of vice-president of marketing for BBC Global Channels.
She will lead the global marketing of the new BBC-branded portfolio of five channels: BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Knowledge, CBeebies and BBC HD.
Diver will report to BBC Global Channels managing director Darren Childs and work closely with regional heads when she joins in July. She joins from Warner Bros International Television, where she is UK and Ireland marketing director. She has worked with UK broadcasters on campaigns for shows including Supernatural and The West Wing.
Previously, she was head of marketing at Sky Networks, where she managed the relaunches of Sky Movies and Sky One.
