Attempting to see the wood for the trees

Ceder%20tower“I think that I shall never see a billboard lovely as a tree.” Profound, if a bit obvious, words from American poet Ogden Nash.

But maybe his view might have been different had he been around to witness The Thomas Partnership’s latest outdoor advertisement tower, clad in Canadian Cedar.

The tower is adjacent to the M3 in Sudbury-on-Thames. It features two internally illuminated ad displays measuring 5 x 7.5m. Companies advertising on the tower include Marks & Spencer, Robinson’s Fruit Shoot and T-Mobile.

Expect to see more of these towers – this is one of several such prestige structures being developed at high-profile locations adjacent to motorways and key roads.
