Hot Stars is currently available as a 64-page supplement with Daily Star sister publication OK!. Some critics, though, have knocked Hot Stars for being tacky and ruining OK!’s brand image. Hot Stars, which features TV listings along with celebrity gossip, will continue to run with OK! but will also be introduced with the Daily Star from July 13 in an effort to lure new readers. The Daily Star’s May’s circulation fell 1.03% to 770,313 from the previous month, according to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulations. Yet it nearly managed to retain its year-on-year circulation, with a fall of just 8,000 from the previous year.
