The lights never go out in Vegas, but people do sleep

Virgin%20Radio%20party%20-%20Las%20VegasBack in April Virgin Radio’s sales team held a poker night for their clients in the Zoo area of their offices (kind of like their own in-house bar/venue). At stake was a trip to Las Vegas.

That night it was OMD’s Marcus Jefferson who triumphed and he joined Paul Carolan, Kirsty Donoghue, Victoria Sangster from MEC, Jayne Stephens from Starcom, Mandy Fowler from ZenithOptimedia, Paul Benson from Universal McCann and Initiative’s Jonathan Barrowman on their way to the original Sin City.

However, the collected agency types found a combination of gambling, caffeine, nicotine and jetlag don’t really mix with more traditional tourist pursuits.

Carolan explains: “Some of us couldn’t sleep, so got up at 4am and went to play blackjack over fags and coffee for breakfast. Two of us then proceeded to fall asleep while in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon and missed the whole thing.”
