Nintendo has announced that Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman (pictured) is to front the latest pan-European advertising campaign for brain training DS title More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old is Your Brain?
The campaign kicks off on Friday this week and will run across print and television. It continues the games giant’s strategy of targeting a wider audience than the traditional gaming market of 18 to 34-year-old males.
Nintendo’s UK marketing director Dawn Paine says: “The brain training phenomenon is sweeping the globe, enjoyed by more than 10 million people from grandparents to Oscar-winning actors. We believe that Nicole Kidman’s leading role in the campaign and the revelation of her DS ‘brain age’ will surprise and excite people all over Europe.”
