Comag launches pre-school title

A new magazine for pre-school children based on television show Jim Jam & Sunny is being launched next month. The magazine will be produced by publishers Comag every four weeks with a cover price of 1.85.

A new magazine for pre-school children based on television show Jim Jam & Sunny is being launched next month. The magazine will be produced by publishers Comag every four weeks with a cover price of £1.85.

It will be competing against other pre-school titles such as Cbeebies, Tweenies, Thomas and Friends, Teletubbies and Balamory, and is the latest extension to the ITV1 show of the same name.

The programme follows the lives of brother and sister Jim Jam and Sunny and drew 1.9 million viewers in the first week it aired on ITV1 in November last year. It was moved to the CiTV channel the following week. In September, the show will return to ITV1 with new episodes and all 130 episodes be will shown over the next three years.

The franchise already includes a website, toys and consumer products, a DVD and music.
