Nickelodean names group marketing chief

Children’s entertainment group Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids & Family Group has named Pam Kaufman as chief marketing officer. Kaufman was previously executive vice-president of marketing and worldwide promotions.

Children’s entertainment group Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids & Family Group has named Pam Kaufman as chief marketing officer. Kaufman was previously executive vice-president of marketing and worldwide promotions.

She will be responsible for all advertising and marketing for the company’s television, digital, consumer products and Nick Movies divisions. She will also oversee marketing of MTVN Kids & Family Group brands such as the Nicktoons Network.

Kaufman will be reporting into president Cyma Zarghami and will spearhead the use of new digital consumer centric marketing tools to help grow the company into new platforms.

Before joining MTV Networks, she established the Promotions Group at Turner Broadcasting System and the first worldwide kids’ meal promotion at Burger King.

She also handled the sponsorship deal for the Cartoon Network Wacky Racing NASCAR Team.
Nickelodeon is one of world’s biggest kids’ entertainment brands and now includes television, books, online, consumer products, magazines and feature films.
