3 reveals first Euro RSCG ads

Mobile network 3 has unveiled its first advertising since appointing ad agency Euro RSCG to its £30m account. The press and radio push features the strapline “You Deserve Better” as the mobile phone operator looks to move away from the quirky approach taken under previous agency WCRS.

The ads highlight the benefits of its £15 a month tariff and details the reasons why it eclipses its five main UK rival networks.

The print executions feature a table knocking each of the five competing networks with disparaging terms such as “way of the mark” and “not even close”. The operator claims that 3 offers more minutes and texts than other UK networks, such as Vodafone and Orange. A radio campaign will also run.

Euro RSCG beat digital shop Glue London and Hurrell and Dawson to win the account earlier this year. WCRS did not repitch.
