AOL poaches MSN business planning and development director

AOL Europe has poached MSN’s Michael Steckler to be vice-president of interactive marketing as it plots an aggressive European expansion strategy. Steckler joins from Microsoft Online Services Group, where he was business planning and development director for the EMEA region.

He led MSN’s sales and business development team in the UK and worked with brands to drive digital revenue. Prior to MSN, Steckler worked in the outdoor industry as head of agency Sales at Clear Channel International.
