TotalJobs holds 2m advertising pitch

Online recruitment site TotalJobs is looking for an agency to handle its estimated £2m advertising account. It is thought that agencies have been pitching this week and that the company wants to make an appointment by the end of the month.

It is understood that TotalJobs works with Albion, although it is not clear whether this week’s pitch affects the agency’s position. Universal McCann was appointed to handle the company’s media planning and buying in November last year, while Agenda21 is TotalJobs’ online media planning and buying agency.

News of the pitch comes as rival Monster’s pan-European advertising review enters its final stages. The online recruitment brand called the pitch at the start of May (MW May 3) and is believed to have shortlisted TBWA, DDB, JWT and McCann Erickson to pitch for the business.

It is thought that the TotalJobs review is being handled by the company’s head of marketing Sophie Relf.
