Muller boosts fruit content of yoghurts

Müller Dairy is launching a yoghurt range that provides one fruit portion of the recommended five-a-day target. The One a Day yoghurts will go on sale before the end of the month.
The yoghurts will contain a fruit underlayer and a separate portion of fruit compote. They will be available in two formats: a range of 5 x four-packs and a choice of three single pots with a spoon.
Müller marketing and R&D director Chris McDonough says: “Healthy eating is a key concern for consumers but very few are willing to compromise on convenience and taste.”
Muller already sells One a Day yoghurt drinks in three flavours – strawberry, banana and blackcurrant; raspberry, apple and cranberry; and orange, banana and passion fruit.
