The IPA launches environmental survey

The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising is launching a survey on green and environmental issues that aims to gauge levels of interest and concern across agencies. It also hopes to assess where there is confusion about green issues.

The survey, which will be sent out on July 25, will target employees at all levels of the IPA’s member agencies. It follows the industry body’s recent decision to set up a Sustainability Working Party as part of a wider commitment to address the issue.

Amanda Phillips, chair of the working party and chief executive of Proximity London, says: “Sustainability is the world’s biggest agenda item. By garnering opinion on what agencies need in terms of knowledge, skills and resources, we can help them to ready themselves for a sustainable future and to build their green credentials.”

The results of the survey will be published at the beginning of September.
