Cardiff-based Noah’s Ark already has concessions in more than 50 UK theme parks, such as Legoland and Butlins holiday camps. This new deal is their first partnership with a retailer.

Nicki Lewington, business development manager at Woolworths, says: “Customised teddy bears are becoming more and more popular and sell extremely well in the United States.”

It is Woolworth’s second concession deal in recent weeks. Earlier this month it announced it would begin trialing concessions run by National Schoolwear Centres (NSC) in two of its stores. NSC has 60 stores and plans to expand to 220 outlets, including its concessions, if the trial is successful.
