Cheeze to handle Transform Surgery’s online strategy

Cheeze, the full-service digital marketing agency that was bought by Digital Marketing Group (DGM) headed by Ben Langdon, has been appointed to handle online strategy for the Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group.

Cheeze will be responsible for creating and developing online brand and search strategy for Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, the UK’s largest private cosmetic surgery provider. Transform aims to build awareness and boost customer numbers.

Transform online marketing manager Simon Booth says Cheeze will be tasked with “taking Transform’s online marketing and search to the next level”.

Cheeze will handle search marketing activities across Google, Miva, MSN Search and Yahoo!, aiming to drive sales and create strong brand awareness. The digital agency will also be tasked with developing online display advertising and Web 2.0 marketing strategies across the media mix.

Transform has 22 clinics and says the cosmetic surgery sector is a growing. It predicts the market for cosmetic surgery will grow 46% between 2004 and 2008. Transform has about 15% market share and a turnover of more than £40m.

Last month DGM, which also houses Inbox Digital, Dig for Fire, HSM and Jaywing, posted revenues of £13.1m. It acquired Cheeze and data business Jaywing in January for £24m.

Cheeze has built a reputation for dynamic campaigns and recently used online mapping application Google Earth to help promote cruise company Fred Olsen.
