Golley Slater has acquired digital agency Green Cathedral as part of its strategy to boost its digital offering. The company will lose its name and be merged into Golley Slater Digital.
Paul O’Donoghue, Green Cathedral’s managing director, will now head the newly expanded digital division at the full-service advertising agency.
Green Cathedral’s clients include The Open University, PC World Business, Centre Parcs and Trafficmaster and the merger makes the division the largest company in the Golley Slater Group.
Chris Lovell, Golley Slater chief executive, says: “Digital solutions are increasingly at the core of all marketing requirements and the demand for digital expertise is set to grow rapidly over the next few years as more and more media is digitised.”
Green Cathedral was founded in 1996 and employs 47 people at offices in Cambridge and London. Both offices and all staff will be retained.
