Nissan is launching a campaign to promote its sponsorship of Sky Sports’ flagship football show, Soccer AM.
The campaign, created by TBWA/London, will promote Nissan’s Navara pick-up truck and will run across TV as well as mobile and online.
The It Gets Respect campaign breaks on August 11 and the idents will use iconic football images, such as a WAG, a groundsman, a commentator, and a South American transfer.
The television idents will include over 50 spots, which will run throughout the 2007/08 football season. A 15-second ident will be screened at the start and the end of each Soccer AM programme.
The tie-up also includes Nissan branding on the Soccer AM microsite on skysports.com. The media buying and planning was carried out by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
