Mango uses size 16 model for campaign

Mango, the Spanish high street retailer, is launching its range in bigger sizes ahead of London Fashion Week. The initiative will be supported with a campaign starring size 16 model Crystal Renn (pictured).

The retailer is extending its collection to offer clothes from size six to size 18 in a bid to offer choice to “every type of women”. It says its aim is to “remind us that fashion is for everyone”.

It decided to use the US model to support the changes because she “takes pride on promoting a healthy image” and is a natural size 16. She has worked with Jean-Paul Gaultier and Steven Meisel in the past.
