London Business School appoints Saatchis Hytner

Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide deputy chairman Richard Hytner (pictured) has been appointed an executive fellow of London Business School. He will be attached to the marketing faculty.

Hytner completed the Sloan fellowship programme at London Business School before joining Saatchi & Saatchi to run Europe, Middle East and Africa four years ago. He was promoted to deputy chairman last year (MW August 17, 2006), reporting to worldwide chief executive Kevin Roberts.

In the past four years, Hytner has been a guest lecturer on MBA, Executive MBA and Sloan degree programmes on creativity, corporate strategy and marketing, as well as on leading strategic transformation. It is expected that he will continue this level of commitment will continue under the terms of the appointment, which runs for two years.

Hytner says: “London Business School’s faculty is world class and I love being rigorously tested by the students there.”
