Radio advertising company RadioWorks has created a new website to allow listeners who miss response details in recruitment ads to replay them online. The company says www.JobsOnRadio.com is the first site of its kind and that as radio is entering the digital age, radio advertising should follow suit.
The site hosts an audio file of the original ad in addition to further details about jobs advertised including salary, location and how to apply. It can be searched by station, region or job category so listeners unsure of the station they heard it on are still able to replay it
A WAP-enabled version of the site is being created and a text marketing service is also available. It will allow listeners to text a keyword to a five-digit shortcode and receive a WAP link to the site so they can listen to the ads on their mobile phones.
