TBWA man to head Discovery brand partnerships and ad sales

Discovery Networks in Europe, Middle East & Africa has appointed Jonathan Rawlinson to the new role of director of brand partnerships and international advertising sales. Rawlinson joins from brand entertainment agency TBWA/Stream where he was broadcast and film consultant.

Discovery Networks in Europe, Middle East & Africa has appointed Jonathan Rawlinson to the new role of director of brand partnerships and international advertising sales. Rawlinson joins from brand entertainment agency TBWA/Stream where he was broadcast and film consultant.

Rawlinson will be responsible for driving revenues through developing new business and providing bespoke creative multimedia campaigns. He will be based in London and report to Jules Robinson, international ad sales vice president.

He will oversee the design and production of sales collateral and provide “thought leadership” in the area of multiplatform communication.

Discovery has also appointed Lisa Plasco as head of production and development, EMEA. She joins from FTVS, the UK arm of Fox TV Studios, and reports to Marian Williams, vice president of EMEA programming.

Discovery Networks distributes 12 brands to 163 million subscribers across 108 markets.
