Cornhill Direct, the motor and home insurance company, has appointed digital agency TBG London to handle its £2m display marketing account. The agency will launch its first campaign in December before the brand ramps up its spend next year.
The work will cover both the motor and home sectors and focus on direct response. Sharon Kellett, direct marketing manager at Cornhill Direct, says: “Integrating online into our marketing strategy is vital to our future growth.”
Cornhill Direct is owned by Allianz Cornhill, a German group that earlier this year announced it was dropping the Cornhill name in the UK in favour of Allianz Insurance.
The company is spending £684m on global advertising over the next three years to raise brand awareness but is keeping the Petplan and Cornhill Direct sub-brands.
