Lil-letsBig Communications has been appointed to produce a £1m ad campaign for Lil-lets. The Leicester-based agency won the business following a three-way pitch against undisclosed agencies.

The advertising push will run throughout 2008 and will include a mixture of print and outdoor. Creative work from the campaign will also feature on the Lil-lets website.

The appointment comes after the Lil-lets brand changed ownership at the end of 2006. Accantia Health and Beauty sold the feminine hygiene brand for £80m, in a management buy-out led by its commercial director Duccio Baldi and financial controller Simon Pinks, and backed by Electra Partners.

The agency’s other clients include drinks brand WKD, King of Shaves, Miele and Lucozade. The agency is part of Mission Marketing Group, which announced the acquisition of Scottish digital agency Story for £6.9m yesterday, bringing its number of group members to six.

Lil-lets’ advertising was previously handled by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
