BBC seeks digital agency for global news services

BBC%20WorldThe BBC is looking to appoint a digital agency roster for its Global News Division (BBC GND), which includes BBC World Service and BBC World. The move will further boost the corporation’s digital focus.

The BBC is seeking agencies to work across strategy and creative for the division. The statutory review is being carried by the BBC’s central procurement team and agencies are invited to register online and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire.

The winning agencies will work with the BBC’s marketing and communications teams and its media agencies. The contract will last two years.

BBC GND is the largest international multi-media broadcaster in the world, with a weekly reach of more than 233 million people.

Last month, the BBC shortlisted six digital agencies as part of a statutory review of its digital creative services, which was called in July.
