Sara Lee Household & Body Care (H&BC) UK is seeking a marketing director after promoting Julie Baker to general manager of its UK tea and coffee business.

Sara Lee Household & Body Care (H&BC) UK is seeking a marketing director after promoting Julie Baker to general manager of its UK tea and coffee business.

The H&BC division has also appointed Nick van Holstein as president after Gary Brown was promoted to head of the division for Asia.

Baker has been with the H&BC division since 2001 and has been responsible for brands including Ambi Pur and Radox, and has recently led the relaunch of Brylcreem. In her new role, she will oversee the hot beverage portfolio, which includes Douwe Egberts.

Van Holstein joins Sara Lee from beauty company Kao Brands, where he was managing director. Its portfolio includes the John Frieda hair care range and Jergens skin care products.

Van Holstein is a veteran in the packaged goods industry; prior to Kao Brands has held a variety of marketing and commercial roles at companies such as Henkel and Quaker Oats. At H&BC, he will report to senior vice-president of western and northern Europe and Africa, Caroline Clarke,.

Meanwhile, Sara Lee H&BC has launched Ambi Pur Puresse, an allergen reduced variation of the Ambi Pur airfreshener range. The launch is backed with a 6m integrated marketing push including television, cinema, press and radio as well as in-store promotions. The campaign, which will break later this autumn, has been created by Joshua G2, with media planning and buying by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
