The FA has appointed M&C Saatchi to handle all marketing. M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment will focus on regional events, various competitions, youth and women’s football, grassroots activity as well as The FA’s campaigns Englandfans and Football for All.
The agency already works with The FA on its FA Tesco Skills programme, a three-year initiative that was rolled out in June and which aims to offer football coaching to 1 million five- to 11-year-olds.
The agency appointment was part of a review of The FA’s PR agency contracts. The footballing body is due to appoint one other agency to work alongside M&C Saatchi.
