The X-Factor has signed an exclusive deal with social networking site MySpace that will give fans of the show access to the finalists on their own dedicated profile pages.
Throughout the series, fans will be able to log onto www.myspace.com/thexfactoruk for exclusive content on the acts, including weekly blogs and videos. The finalists will be able to gauge their popularity by the number of friends they have.
MySpace UK marketing director Dom Cook says: “For X-Factor fanatics, the Saturday show is just not enough. Now fans can connect with their idols every day on their MySpace profiles.”
