Airing Playhouse Disney programmes 25 minutes later on Playhouse Disney + is aimed to cater for pre-school children who enjoy repetition.

The channels will be available to Sky customers as part of the Kids Mix children’s programming.

Disney Channel is also launching a new series for pre-schoolers. Bunnytown is a humorous puppet variety show, produced at Elstree Studios. The series’ producers include several members who worked on The Muppet Show and Sesame Street.

Bunnytown premieres on Playhouse Disney at November 3 and the series will be broadcast internationally throughout 2008.
