Havas has posted third quarter revenue growth of 7.3% year-on-year to €368m (£258m), on the back of a strong performance across Europe. The marketing services group says its performance was its strongest quarterly organic figure since 2000.

It saw a 4.5% increase in revenue in the UK although it lagged behind France and North America. The group, which is chaired by Vincent BollorÀ, says the UK was helped by a strong performance from advertising, direct and its digital businesses.

France recorded growth of 13.4% in the period to €75m (£52.5m) while North America saw organic growth of 9.1% to €128m (£90m).

Revenues for the first nine months were €1,098m (£769m), an increase of 3.3% from 2006.
