Olbas is launching a £2m campaign to support the launch of its first tablet-based remedy, Olbas Powerflu. The TV ad, created by Bray Leino, uses “live action” overlaid with computer generated imagery (CGI) to show two cold sufferers as they struggle through the day.

A CGI “ghosted” version of each person is shown desperately wanting to go home. After taking Olbas Powerflu, the ghosts fade away and the people are able to get on with their day, and feel much better. The ad breaks later this month and will be supported by an outdoor campaign on the London Underground and press advertising in Metro. The media planning and buying is also by Bray Leino.
