Xfm, the GCap Media-owned radio brand, is supporting the launch of its South Wales station with a major outdoor campaign that will break on November 16.
The ads, which have been created by Stills Design, aim to raise awareness of the station’s presenter line-up and its launch on November 29. Its schedule includes ex-Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable and two members of Welsh hip hop group, Goldie Lookin’ Chain.
The campaign uses a superhero theme to emphasis the “strong line-up” of presenters and the “importance of music to Xfm South Wales and its listeners”. Presenters and Xfm staff will back the campaign by dressing up as superheroes and making personal appearances across South Wales.
The ads will run on buses, 48-sheet billboards and as four sheets at train stations.
