Liquid to promote National Liverpool Museums

Liquid, the Liverpool-based design and marketing agency, has won a brief to promote the National Liverpool Museums next year. The appointment of Liquid comes ahead of Liverpool becoming European Capital of Culture for 2008.

Liquid is understood to have won the brief following a pitch against four undisclosed agencies. The agency will launch the campaign with a brochure and press and outdoor advertising is expected to follow later in the year.

The eight National Liverpool Museums are World Museum Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Sudley House, Merseyside Maritime Museum, National Conservation Centre, International Slavery Museum and Customs & Excise Museum.

Chris Mitchell, managing director at Liquid, says: “The result is significant because most of our other clients are outside of the city.”

Liquid’s client list includes Radley, Fujifilm, Staples, Medicash and Lloyds TSB.
