The Sun Online is the only website to report a significant decline in visitors, according to the online readership figures for October. It saw a drop of nearly 1.5 million users to just over 9 million from 10.5 million the previous month.
It was a strong month for the rest of the newspapers with the Mail Online reporting 13.5 million users up from 11.6 million in September. The Guardian Unlimited recorded another record month in October, registering 18.4 million unique users, an increase of over 1.5 million from the previous month. The Telegraph also saw an increase of over 400,000 users on the previous month to 11,108.025.
The Times Online, which leapfrogged the Mail Online and Sun Online in September, fell back slightly from 12,536,348 to 12,441,882.
