Orange’s marketing procurement chief Nicholas Robert is leaving the company to join Coca-Cola. It is not known what role he will take at Coke but it is thought to be a senior position in the procurement department.

Orange has a procurement team of six and Robert was responsible for marketing as senior buyer for marketing services. He reported to sourcing director for marketing Allison Ford-Langstaff. Orange is thought to be seeking a replacement.

It is understood that Robert was involved in the consolidation pitch for Orange’s £20m direct marketing account earlier this year. Harrison Troughton Wunderman (now Wunderman UK) was eventually handed the business following a four-way pitch against Chemistry and incumbents WWAV Rapp Collins and Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel.
