Selfridges is planning to entice consumers into its stores this Christmas with a series of ads focusing on luxury gifts and treats that breaks later this week.
The campaign has been created by Beattie McGuinness Bungay, and has been shot using 3-D, 2-D and wall projects to create three executions set in a “magical wintery forest”. One ad shows a tree laden with indulgent treats. The campaign has the strapline “Discover Christmas”. It will run across press, including the Sunday Times Style Magazine, and ES Magazine, and outdoor. An animated version will be used on digital escalator panels in London Underground stations. The ads will also appear in Manchester and Birmingham. Media planning and buying is through MediaCom.
