McCann Erickson has taken the second place on the 26m Premier Foods advertising roster. The agency beat WCRS to win the business.

McCann Erickson has taken the second place on the £26m Premier Foods advertising roster. The agency beat WCRS to win the business.

It comes just weeks after Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy was also appointed to the roster (MW November 15). It is not clear which agency will handle the Hovis business, which was the test brief for the pitch. It is thought that the food company will put both McCann Erickson and MCBD’s work into research.

McCann Erickson was the only incumbent agency to make it through to the second round of the pitch. The business was previously split between CHI & Partners, which handled the majority of the business, Delaney Lund Knox Warren, Publicis and McCann Erickson. DDB London was the incumbent agency on Hovis but declined to repitch.
