Tiger has appointed its †CHI†&†Partners to handle its £1m media planning and buying business. It is understood the agency snatched the brief from incumbent PHD†after winning for its advertising account last month.†

It is the first win for the CHI & Partners Media, the media buying division that it launched following its acquisition by WPP†Group earlier this year. It is backed by WPP-owned media network Group M.

The pitch was overseen by marketing manager Steven Greaves. He says he had not planned to change the media agency, but that after appointing CHI it “made good business sense” to do so. The agency pitched against McCann Erickson, Leagas Delaney and Hurrell &†Dawson to win the advertising account.
