DMG benefits from growing digital spend

Digital Marketing Group, the company led by Ben Langdon, says its has “continued to benefit” from the increased spend on digital marketing as its reveals positive results for six months to the end of September.

The group saw revenue increase from £20.9m last year to £22.1m for the same period this year. Its pre-tax profits were also up from £1.9m to £2.4m.

DMG acquired two companies – Graphico New Media and Hyperlaunch New Media, over the period, which it says have now been integrated into the business. Langdon, DMG chief executive, says that it in a position to “exploit suitable acquisition opportunities” in digital.

He adds: “Our single minded focus on digital direct marketing has helped to attract new blue-chip clients and to generate incremental business from our existing client based. We continue to benefit from growth in expenditure through digital channels and are already recognised as leaders in this specialist sector.”
