PepsiCo hands Campbell Tropicana USA role

Neil Campbell, general manager of Walkers UK, has been promoted to president of Tropicana USA. He will be replaced in the UK by Richard Evans, who moves from PepsiCo Middle East and Africa.

Campbell, who has been at PepsiCo for more than 12 years, takes up his new role at the end of January. He has led the Walkers marketing department since 1998 and was made vice-president of marketing for Pepsico UK in 1993. He was promoted to general manager of Walkers in 2005.

Campbell worked closely with former PepsiCo UK president Martin Glenn, who has since left the company, and both were key to the launch of the long-running Gary Lineker campaign. More recently, Campbell has led the development of healthier snacking products and Walkers’ environmental work.

Evans, who also takes over his new role in January, is currently commercial vice-president in the Middle East and Africa division. He is responsible for marketing, research and development, sales and commercial strategy across the food and beverage divisions in the region.

PepsiCo UK president Salman Amin says Evans has a “strong track record in delivering exceptional performance and results”.
