The Hits and C4 put on Sunday music season

The Hits, the EMAP-owned music channel, and Channel 4 are joining forces to launch a season of music programming. 4Music Sundays will include live performances, documentaries and shows from C4 youth strand, T4.

The season, which will launch on The Hits on March 2, will also have the fourth series of The Shockwaves Album Chart Show and video exclusives. It will run until May.

The initiative is the first to be launched out of the Box TV joint venture between EMAP and Channel 4 that was formed in July last year.

Neil McCallum, head of music at Channel 4, says: “4Music Sunday will be drawing on Channel 4’s extensive music output, which combined with the hottest music videos should make for an unmissable mix of Sunday night entertainment.”
