Curzon Cinemas, the independent cinema operator, has appointed Pearl & Dean to handle its advertising contract for the next three years. The account was previously handled by Carlton Screen Advertising.

The win takes Pearl & Dean’s admissions national share to almost 27% and over one third of total admissions in the London market.

Howard Warren, business development director of Pearl & Dean, says: “We are thrilled to be appointed by Curzon. Due to the cinemas’ locations, many of the customers at these sites are highly affluent and influential in the arts and media world and so advertisers will be able to capture this hard to reach yet highly important audience.”

Curzon has cinemas in Mayfair, Soho, Richmond, Chelsea and Bloomsbury.
