The National Blood Service appoints DLKW to 2.5m donor campaign
The National Blood Service (NBS) has appointed incumbent Delaney Lund Knox Warren to work on a £2.5m campaign aimed at raising awareness and encouraging existing and new donors to give blood on a regular basis. The decision follows a statutory review of the business and a pitch against Farm.
The campaign will target anyone aged between 17 and 60 that is eligible to give blood and direct them to the NBS website or helpline for further information. One challenge will be to encourage donors who have stopped donating blood to become active once again.
Gavin Evans, head of marketing at the NBS, says: “It is vital we encourage new and existing donors to give blood regularly. Our advertising agency is a key partner in achieving this and we very much look forward to working in partnership with DLKW again.”
The campaign is expected to break in April.
