Corke, who has already taken over the role, replaces Darren Davidson, who left NGN to join IPC Media although he has since left that company. He says: “We are in a period of tremendous growth and innovation and my job is to turn that success into revenues and take us to the next level.”

At Associated, Corke was responsible for advertising sales across more than 60 websites including dailymail.co.uk and thisislondon.co.uk. Prior to that he worked at IPC Media as group advertisement director.

Mark Chippendale, NGN media director, says: “Martin has strong digital publishing experience and we are delighted to have him on board. We are a multi-platform business and revenues for our internet and mobile platforms are growing all the time.”
