Fruitus revamps packaging to launch new snacks

Snack brand Fruitus is relaunching with revamped packaging and new product variants. The relaunch is being supported by an ad campaign that will break next month.

The Lyme Regis Fine Foods-owned brand has introduced a “Fruitus tree” brand icon and now uses recycled packaging as part of a push to underline its organic credentials.

The new product variants will see the company offering a broader variety of fruit and oak bars and chewy fruit bites. The marketing campaign, created by Principles Agency, breaks on March 3, and comprises press, national sampling and consumer PR.

Dave Coulson, group marketing director of Lyme Regis parent Glisten, says: “Within an increasingly crowded market, we aim to create a unique family of fruit snacks under the Fruitus brand. As for the future, we have ambitions for a number of brands across the group, and have further development planned for Fruitus.”
