British Gas promotes savings

British%20gas%20adBritish Gas is launching its first brand campaign since 2004 to encourage consumers to save money on their bills by making their homes more energy efficient.

The TV campaign, which breaks on February 25 and has been created by CHI & Partners, will promote its Energy Savers’ Report, suggesting ways consumers can change their homes to save energy. The first execution promotes British Gas Residential Energy and shows the variety of ways that renewable energy can be generated including a wind farm, tidal power and solar power. A second ad promotes its maintenance arm, British Gas Services. Both have the strapline/ “Your Energy Experts”.

Managing director of marketing and strategy at British Gas, Chris Jansen, says the campaign points out that consumers can reduce bills by an average of £175 a year.
