Cadbury Creme Egg has created a one-off TV ad to coincide with the Mastercard Brit Awards 2008 that will run tonight (February 20).
The execution, created by Publicis, is part of the overarching “Here Today, Goo Tomorrow” campaign, and will air during the ad breaks on ITV, where the awards will be broadcast from 8pm.
Cadbury Creme Egg has been bolstering its marketing activity since the beginning of the year. The heavyweight TV campaign is aimed at gaining maximum brand exposure in the run-up to Easter.
Together with new TV, outdoor and print creative, it has also made a big push online, with the launch last month of a website created by CMW Interactive.
Meanwhile, in a bid to expand the brand’s presence beyond the Easter period, the company is launching a chocolate bar called Creme Egg Twisted (MW January 24).
