Publishing director Swift leaves Centaur
Annie Swift, publishing director of Marketing Week, Precision Marketing and New Media Age, is leaving following a top-level restructure at publishing house Centaur Media.
Swift, who joined Centaur from Haymarket in 1989as publisher of PM, was later appointed publisher then publishing director of Marketing Week.
Her responsibilities were then extended to include oversight of PM and NMA. She was part of the management team that oversaw Centaur’s flotation on the stock market in 2004.
Swift says: “Having operated across a variety of markets, I have to say the marketing and new media sectors take some beating. I’ve also worked alongside, and done business with, some exceptionally talented people. It’s been a real privilege, and I just hope that my next venture proves as rewarding.”
Centaur chief executive Geoff Wilmot adds: “Annie has made a major contribution to the development of Centaur’s business and its culture over many years. She will be sorely missed.”
