Typhoo rebrands as Ty.whoo for Dr Seuss film launch

Typhoo is rebranding as part of a promotion to support the launch of animated film, Dr Suess’ Horton Hears a Who!. The tea brand will change its name to Ty.whoo for the campaign, which breaks next month.

The brand will also changes its strapline to “You only Get a Who with Typhoo” for a TV campaign that will support the promotion. It will also give away toys related to the film and run a competition to win a holiday to India.

20th Century Fox has also signed up food brand Ella’s Kitchen, Chiquito’s restaurants and Holiday Inn Hotels to help promote the film. Ella’s Kitchen will run a promotion across its Smoothie Fruits range encouraging children to write a short story and packs will transform into finger puppets.

The restaurant chain will see Horton Hears a Who! sticker sets, with the proceeds going to the charity ChildLine. The charity will also act as a partner for the film’s regional premieres. The film will also be featured in point of sale materials at Holiday Inn hotels and on its website.
