Mercedes launches outdoor ad campaign

SL-Class%20Roadster%2C%20Mercedes-BenzCar brand Mercedes-Benz is launching an outdoor ad campaign to promote its “SL-Class Roadster” and “CLS-Class Roadster” models.

The campaign launches on April 7 and will be followed by TV and press from May 4. It will appear on outdoor company JC Decaux’s 20 new London PrimeTime screens, and on the M4 digital torch. JC Decaux says it is the first campaign that it has booked which includes all its “premium” formats including digital, hi-definition billboards, “halo” lighting, its larger premier billboards and iconic sites such as the A3 Tower. It was planned and booked through BJK&E and Kinetic.

Managing director of JC Decaux Spencer Berwin says: “Premium brands such as Mercedes-Benz require premium outdoor sites and this is something JC Decaux prides itself on being able to deliver.”

Mercedes-Benz’s senior marketing and communications specialist, Suzanne Macquire, says: “As a brand leader it’s important that we communicate with our customers in a premium way. The campaign will reach not only our core customers but the wider audience of potential.”
